Next Generations Wellness Policy
For the protection of the children, families, staff and volunteers in our children and youth ministries, please adhere to the following guidelines when determining if your child or youth should attend events or programming at New Minas Baptist Church.
We would ask that you not bring your child or youth to church or to church events if they have experienced any of the following symptoms in the 24 hours before you plan to attend:
Fever
Stomach-ache or vomiting
Diarrhea
Non-clear runny nose
Excessive and / or persistent cough or breathing difficulties
Discharge from eyes or eye infection or pink eye
Complaints of a bad headache or sore throat
Unexplained rash or open sores
Untreated head lice and / or live nits
Any other childhood diseases or contagious illnesses [such as chicken pox, mumps, measles, hand-foot-mouth, etc.]
If a child or youth develops any of these above symptoms while in our care, we will ask you to pick them up immediately. We will not administer medicine of any kind for these symptoms.
Staff and volunteer leaders in our events and programming will adhere to the same guidelines.
Thank-you. Your cooperation will help protect the health of everyone who is a part of the Next Generations ministries at New Minas Baptist Church.
