We love kids at NMBC! It’s our goal to partner with parents to point kids toward Jesus! Our children's ministry is made up of several different ministries.  We believe that children of all ages need to experience large group worship times and small group community and discipleship times - and all this while making all of our children’s events and environments as much fun as possible!

Age 0-2 | Nursery

Each Sunday morning our nursery provides care for children between 0-2 years old.  Our team of volunteer leaders are excited to share God's love with the youngest members of our church family.  

Our nursery is available from 15 minutes before our main worship services, until 15 minutes after our worship services every Sunday.  For more information about our nursery please contact our church office or email children@nmbc.ca

Age 2-5 | Sprouts

Our preschool ministry serves children starting at age 2. During our Sunday morning worship services, our Sprouts children experience fun environments which include small groups, music, storytelling, crafts, and snacks all designed especially to help preschool children learn to have fun while learning about and worshipping God!

Grades P-5 | The Orchard

Our ministry to children in grades primary through five is called The Orchard.  Every Sunday morning in The Orchard we aim at several different learning environments - we have a Bible Storytelling, a Large Group Children's Worship time, and Small Groups! 

In the Orchard we follow an exciting teaching plan called One Big Story - Every Story Points to Jesus! This teaching material is written at developed at NMBC and is given away for free to other churches. For more information about The Orchard please contact our church office or email children@nmbc.ca

Grades 2-5 | The Grove

Children who are in grades 1-5 are invited every week to be a part of The Grove. Our goal is to create a community where kids know that they are loved, where they have friends, where they are supported, and where the roots of their faith in Jesus grow deep! New Minas Children's Centre

At New Minas Baptist Church we have a licensed full serve Christian preschool and day care facility.  New Minas Children's Centre is licensed for 74 children and is run and managed by a team of highly trained Early Childhood Educators.
