Journeying Toward Easter

We want to encourage you to intentionally journey with us toward Easter. Easter is arguably even more important for children to understand that Christmas. Easter is also much more difficult to teach. Our celebration of Christmas is a celebration of birth and the fulfillment of God's promise to send a person. Our celebration of Easter, however, is a celebration that includes the death of Jesus - the person who's birth we celebrate at Christmas. Without a solid knowledge and understanding of the Old Testament, Easter can be confusing for adults and children alike.
We want to help by suggesting some good resources for your family. Later this week we'll be sending you a list of children's Bibles and study tools which you can consider as potential Easter gifts.
