Summer Sunday Mornings for Kids! We are excited to offer engaging ministries for kids every Sunday morning! Our NURSERY [age 0-2] is available and staffed with volunteers during our morning worship service and is open for parents and babies. Our SPROUTS [age 2-5] and THE ORCHARD [grades P-5] programs are available during our morning... all children begin in the main worship service with their families and are dismissed from the service to NMBC Kids.

NMBC KIDS - Volunteer This Summer! - This Summer at New Minas Baptist Church, we are excited about all the opportunities to serve God by loving kids and pointing them to Jesus! We have six weeks of Sports Camps, one Drama Camp, our annual Vacation Bible Camp, and our regular Nursery [age 0-2], Sprouts [age 2-5], and Orchard [grades P-5] on Sunday mornings! We need many volunteers to make all of these exciting programs work!

We need 6-8 adults and 6-8 teenagers to volunteer each Sunday. At each sports/drama camp, we need 6-8 teenage volunteers. Sign up using this link, and let us know when you'd like to serve this summer! Sign-up HERE.

VACATION BIBLE CAMP - August 12-15 - Registration Open Now!
Join us at VACATION BIBLE CAMP for a fantastic mix of large group celebrations, Bible storytelling, & fantastic fun activities! Our Vacation Bible Camp is a FREE event for kids from 900am – 1230pm, Monday to Thursday, August 12-15, 2024! All children from age 3 - grade 5 [2023-24 school year] are invited! All children who will attend our Vacation Bible Camp must be pre-registered.

HARVEST CHRISTIAN ACADEMY is a school where students are immersed in a positive Christian environment through loving role models, biblical values, academic excellence, and opportunities to explore a relationship with Jesus.

Registration for the 2024 Fall Semester is now open!  Full time students attend Monday to Friday 8:00am-3:00pm. Afternoon activities are offered to homeschool families 12:00pm-3:00pm. SEND-A-KID to CAMP FUND is our sponsorship fund at NMBC to provide bursary support to families of kids & youth who want to attend Christian camps in the summer. For many families, camp is expensive, and we want to offer support so that more children and youth can encounter Jesus and have life-changing camp experiences! All money donated to the fund will go to applicants who need support to pay for camp registrations. The priority in dispersing funds will be children or youth wanting to attend Kingswood Camp. CANADIAN BAPTIST MINISTRIES - UKRAINE (CBM is our international partner in missions and outreach). CBM's emergency appeal for the crisis in Ukraine raised over $1.2 million to provide aid to refugees and internally displaced persons through CBM's existing partnership with the European Baptist Federation (EFB) and through Eastern European local church partners.  Emergency shelter was constructed and food and personal hygiene supplies were also distributed.  Despite the numerous challenges and risks to their own lives, Ukrainian Baptists continue to have hope.  Their brave acts of love have led many to Christ and many needs have been met.  Over 3,000 people have been baptized and many churches are full, in the middle of suffering and uncertainty.  Should you wish to support these efforts financially, you can donate via CBM's website or simply label your gifts to NMBC as "Ukraine" and we will ensure that it is forwarded to CBM.  Since the war began New Minas Baptist Church, through your donations, has provided $15,206 in assistance. Thank you for your continued partnership with the FUNDY FOOD BANK!  Items needed on a regular basis include: egg cartons, pasta, pasta sauce, canned meats, canned baked beans, canned fruit, apple juice, sugar, cereal, canned vegetables and lunch items. Please also consider a monetary donation to assist this vital area ministry. Your food and monetary donations can be dropped off at our church office [Mon-Fri 9:00am - 12:00pm] or at the Connections Centre in the lobby on Sunday mornings. THE NEW MINAS SUNRISE ROTARY CLUB "Little Pantries Project" is located in our NMBC front garden. Please consider dropping off dry good food staples and placing them in the box. PLEASE do not place perishable and/or liquid items in the pantry during the colder months. Folks in our neighbourhood who are in need appreciate your generosity. Thanks for your support! It really is the little things that we all do that make our community stronger.
