Reflection & Discussion
Warm-up. If you were a shoe, what kind would you be and why?
Read Galatians 6:7-10. Ask God to bless your study.
1. Describe at least one situation in your own life where you have seen 6:7 come true.
2. Surely everyone wants a good harvest. Why would anyone (including you) plant bad seed (consider 6:8-9)?
3. Explain the difference between someone who is merely restrained by fear and pride to be good, and someone who is transformed and being renovated by the gospel and the Spirit.
4. Take an inventory of where your time and resources are being planted. What areas do not reflect the harvest you want?
5. What opportunities do you have to “do good” (6:10)? Why do you think special emphasis is given to doing good to believers?
6. Why is it easy to become “weary in doing good”? What can we do to prevent this?
7. What do you think are the “marks of Jesus” on Paul? Do you have any such marks? Why is it good to be discipled/mentored by someone who does bear the marks of Jesus?
