Warm-up. What is a favourite Bible verse of yours?

Read Psa 19:7-11; 119:105-112; 2 Timothy 3:16-17 Ask God to bless your study.

1. According to these passages - 2 Timothy 3:16; 1 Thess 2:13; Luke 16:29, 31; Proverbs 6:23; Psalm 12:6; 119:140; Psalm 119:160; John 17:17; Proverbs 30:5–6; Psalm 19:7; Isaiah 55:11; Psalm 19:10; Hebrews 4:12; Deut 4:2, 12:32; Romans 16:26; James 1:22 - what does Scripture say about itself?

2. What are some popular reasons for ignoring the Bible?

3. Have you had doubts or questions about the authority and reliability of the Bible? What caused those doubts? Have you been able to resolve them? If so, how?

4. According to 2 Timothy 3:1-17, why do we need God's Word?

5. ”All Scripture is God-breathed.” How does this understanding of the Bible help you to believe it’s accurate, reliable and sufficient to know Christ and live a holy life in this world?
